Effective Tech Solutions is Jaypaul Barrow. I founded ETS in 1998 with a simple position: the client deserves someone technical at the table who is not selling them hardware.

The work since has run from boardroom systems to broadcast: studio infrastructure for BSkyB, welcome experiences for KPMG, the KAPSARC Vision Wall in Riyadh (the largest-resolution videowall in the world when we installed it in 2016, and the museum’s record-setting touch wall that followed in 2022), control rooms for Flex, and a long collaboration with Engage Works that ran from Sky Academy Studios in 2013 through the NEOM D&C Innovation Hub control room specification in 2022. Along the way: niche software innovators, giants like Samsung, and a lot of rooms where the screens simply had to work on the day.

The approach has not changed. Scope agreed up front. Drawings an installer can build from. Bids read line by line. Variation requests scrutinised, not waved through.

What has changed is where the interesting problems live. AI integration, software and hardware products, project rescues: that work now ships under Thrucible, the practice ETS grew into. Same principal, same standard.
